Hollywood's record number of sequels in 2011

If you have been a regular cinema goer this year, you might have felt like you were revisiting many familiar characters.

Hollywood released a record 28 film sequels this year.

The BBC's Emma Jones investigates why the film industry has put its faith in franchises.
