Vanessa Redgrave awarded Oscar tribute
British actress Vanessa Redgrave has received an Oscar tribute in London.
Meryl Streep, Ralph Fiennes and Redgrave's current West End co-star, James Earl Jones attended the event on Sunday.
Redgrave, 74, has appeared in more than 80 films, including 1977's Julia for which she won the best supporting actress Oscar.
Her daughter, Joely Richardson, said Redgrave gives a "collective experience of her emotions" in her performances.
Ralph Fiennes praised her as "one of the greatest actresses ever".
