A guide to Leonardo da Vinci's technique

The National Gallery's Leonardo da Vinci exhibition is expected to be one of this year's most significant art events.

The exhibition's curator, Luke Syson, gave BBC's Arts Editor Will Gompertz a guided tour of Da Vinci's portrait, Portrait of a Musician.
