Artist David Hockney on returning to Yorkshire to paint

David Hockney, who has spent much of his career in California, has been talking about his latest project painting and filming Yorkshire landscapes.

The artist returned to his home to work on a collection of painted pieces and a video work using nine cameras to create a movie of a road through the four seasons.

The 72-year-old was asked to create the special exhibition by the Royal Academy to mark the 2012 Olympic year.
