BBC Television Centre up for sale
The BBC has put its famous Television Centre in west London up for sale.
The studio complex first opened for business in 1960 and has played host to some of the most famous moments in broadcasting.
The corporation said it was interested in a conventional sale or offers to redevelop the site as a joint venture.
As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations in June 2010, the BBC's Nick Higham took a look around the Centre with former staff members - one of whom worked on the very first programme to be made in the building.
This video was first broadcast in June 2010.
