Years later as Roger enjoyed amazing success, he was haunted by a recurring dream about murdering someone, which he only began to understand when he was much older.
Roger Waters was talking to Kirsty Young on Desert Island Discs broadcast on Sunday 29 May at 1115 BST on BBC Radio 4, repeated 0900 BST on Friday 3 June. Listen online or browse the extensive Desert Island Discs archive.
