Jodie Foster on standing by Mel Gibson

The Cannes Film Festival will be screening The Beaver which stars Mel Gibson, an actor brought down by scandal.

He plays opposite Jodie Foster, who also directed the film.

Jodie Foster spoke to Tom Brook about why she is standing by Mel Gibson and why she admires his work.

Talking Movies is broadcast on BBC World News on Saturday at 1330 GMT and is repeated on Sunday at 0030, 0730, and 2030 GMT.
