Humans in Jeopardy! against IBM supercomputer Watson
Jeopardy! champions Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter have revealed what it felt like to "represent the human race" against IBM's supercomputer Watson in a special edition of the television show.
The rapid fire quiz tests knowledge in a range of fields, but in a twist of game play, players are given answers and must supply questions to win prize money attached to each question.
At stake is a $1m prize (£620,000) and the reputation of the field of artificial intelligence, which David Ferrucci of IBM Research hopes will help humans better understand the creativity of communication.
