Andrea Riseborough: 'Wallis Simpson was a very good woman'

Andrea Riseborough, star of the forthcoming film W.E., which tells how Wallis Simpson's affair with King Edward VIII led to his abdication, has told BBC Breakfast the American was "a very good woman".

The actress also revealed what it was like to play Rose, the love interest of small-time gangster Pinkie in new thriller Brighton Rock, a remake of Graham Greene's 1938 novel, now set in the 1960s.

Brighton Rock is released in the UK on 4 February. Romantic drama W.E., which is directed by Madonna, is set for release later this year.
