Are French relations with Belgium something to laugh at?

The long-awaited follow-up to a huge comedy hit of 2007, 'Bienvenu chez les Ch'tis', or Welcome to the Sticks is released this week.

With 20 million cinema viewers, it was the most popular French movie of all time.

The new film, called Nothing to Declare, again directed by and starring the comedian Dany Boon, is set in the far north of France.

Its theme is the rather delicate question of relations between the French and the Belgians.

Hugh Schofield reports.
