Sir Anthony Hopkins on new exorcism horror film The Rite

Actor Sir Anthony Hopkins attended the premiere of his new psychological horror film, The Rite, in which he plays an exorcist priest, at Hollywood's Gramaun's Chinese Theater on Wednesday.

The film is inspired by the true story of Father Gary Thomas, an American priest who travelled to Italy to study the rite of exorcism, played in the film by Colin O'Donoghue and renamed Michael Kovak.

The Rite, which also stars Ciaran Hinds and Alice Braga, is released in the UK on 25 February, rated 15.
