Star Benedict Cumberbatch 'thrilled' at Sherlock success
Benedict Cumberbatch has been speaking about his joy that his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in the 21st century has proved popular with both critics and fans.
He was speaking as he arrived for the National TV Awards, where the BBC series Sherlock was nominated for best drama but lost out to Waterloo Road.
Cumberbatch was also in the running for an individual prize, best drama performance, but David Jason got the gong.
