Sir Terry Wogan to join Just a Minute on Radio 4

Sir Terry Wogan is to become a panellist on long-running BBC Radio 4 game show Just a Minute.

The former Radio 2 breakfast host will appear in two editions of the new series, due to be aired next month.

Other guests on the show, hosted by Nicholas Parsons, include Paul Merton, Sheila Hancock and Marcus Brigstocke.

The programme, which began in 1967, sees guests aiming to speak on a subject for one minute without hesitation, deviation or repetition.

Legendary panellists in the past have included the late Kenneth Williams, Sir Clement Freud and actor Derek Nimmo.

Stephen Fry, Gyles Brandreth and Julian Clary are among the regular guests on the programme.
