Sharlto Copley auditioned for A-Team with invisible dog
Sharlto Copley has revealed he got the part of "Howling Mad" Murdock in The A-Team film by recording improvised scenes in his hotel room alongside his invisible dog Billy.
When Dwight Schultz, who played Murdock in the original 80s television series, saw the tape, he reportedly tweeted "Murdock is dead. Long live Murdock."
Mr Copley was speaking on BBC Breakfast following the DVD and Blu-Ray release of the film, which also stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
