Influence of drugs on art and culture exhibition opens

From poetry to pop music, a question that has been asked down the ages is whether mind-altering drugs can ever enhance an artist's performance.

It is a subject that has been explored in a new exhibition at the Wellcome Collection in London which looks at the history and influence of drugs on art and culture.
