New film honours Battle of Britain's Polish pilots
Polish pilots who took part in the Battle of Britain 70 years ago are being honoured in a short film starring Julian Glover.
Battle For Britain, which pays tribute to the many Polish pilots who fought with the RAF, was directed by British director, Alex Helfrecht, and written by Jörg Tittel, who is half German and half Polish.
Julian Glover's imaginary character, Mr Rogulski, a veteran who embodies the spirit of the Polish pilots, has a chance meeting with Steven, a young man played by Max Fowler. Steven takes Mr Rogulski on a scooter ride through a sleepy Oxford market which transports him back to the battle emblazoned skies of Britain in 1940.
