GMTV comes to an end to make way for Daybreak

Help

GMTV has come to an end after 17 years on ITV.

Andrew Castle paid tribute to the show's "loyal viewers", as he was joined on the sofa by presenters Richard Arnold, Emma Crosby and pop band McFly.

GMTV will be replaced from Monday by a new show called Daybreak, fronted by ex-One Show co-hosts Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley.
