Lissie - the next big thing?
With her acoustic guitar, folk sound and long flowing hair American singer-songwriter Lissie could have stepped out of the 1960s.
She has been compared to Stevie Nicks, Chrissie Hynde and Sheryl Crow and has a celebrity fan base that includes Katy Perry, Courtney Love and Mark Ronson.
Having received rave reviews for her debut album and after performing at festivals throughout the summer, critics say she is one artist to watch this year.
She talked to the BBC about how she moved to playing professionally.
