Alexander Armstrong's murder mystery

Help

Comedian Alexander Armstrong is shocked to find a 220 year old letter sent to his five times great-grandfather Sir Charles Rouse Boughton by his brother Edward reporting the 'wonderful news' that a cousin has died.

The death means Edward, who was heavily in debt, will inherit a baronetcy. But it then emerges the cousin was only 20 when he died and was killed by poisoning.

Has Alexander's distant relative acquired a title by foul play?

Who Do You Think You Are? is on BBC One at 2100 BST on Monday 23 August 2010 and afterwards on BBC iPlayer.
