Former factory workers, shipbuilders and miners have been invited to throw stones at a derelict warehouse as part of an art project.

Spanish artist Cristina Lucas wants former industrial workers to take part in a video for the Liverpool Biennial.

It will comment on the decline of manufacturing in the city.

The film will be shot on Sunday and special effects will be used to show the participants breaking the words Touch and Go into the windows.

The resulting work will be shown as part of the biennial, which specialises in showcasing international artists and takes place in venues across Liverpool from 18 September.
