Kerrang Awards: Corey Taylor on rock's promising future
Slipknot's Corey Taylor says he has hope for the rock scene, based on the large number of new bands nominated for the Kerrang! Awards.
He said it was important to "keep moving that generation along... and show them we appreciate their work".
On being asked to co-host the awards with Scott Ian for a second year, he joked it was because "we're desperate".
He added that he thought the key was that "we're very garrulous people... We... make fun of ourselves."
