'Tougher' GCSEs and A-levels revealed

The government has announced plans for more rigorous GCSEs and A-levels in England.

From 2015 tougher GCSEs in English and maths will be introduced into classrooms, along with more challenging A-levels.

The content of GCSEs in other subjects is being overhauled from 2016.
