Primary schools exclude 8,000 children for violent acts
The Department for Education says bad behaviour in primary schools in England is worsening with 90 children being sent home every day.
Eiight thousand children were excluded for aggressive and violent behaviour towards teachers and classmates.
Kieran Heakin, head teacher at St John the Baptist Roman Catholic school in Burnley, and Martin Johnson, the Deputy General Secretary of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers, told 5 live'sVictoria Derbyshire why they thought it was happening.
