Cost of university degree to rise again

The cost of getting a university degree in England will rise to an average of £8,500 a year by 2013, according to new figures from the Office for Fair Access.

The watchdog has said every university charging these kind of top rates, must create a plan which guarantees poorer students will not be priced out of higher education.
