Secondary league tables 2011: Lowest GCSE results
- 26 January 2012
- From the section Education & Family
This table lists the 200 state secondary schools in England with the lowest attainment at GCSE level.
The schools are ranked on the percentage of pupils attaining five A*-C passes in GCSE or equivalent qualifications, including maths and English GCSEs. The average number of points scored per pupil is then used as a tie break - point scores are given for each qualification.
Independent schools have been removed from this list. Schools marked AC are academies, schools with fewer than 30 pupils are not included.
