State boarding schools see increased demand for places
There are 38 state boarding schools across the UK which are attended by more than 5,000 children.
Ashby School's boarding facility, School House, in Ashby-de-la-Zouch in Leicestershire, has opened a new wing to double the number of pupils it can take.
