Using a pen and paper to answer exam questions should end, says Ofqual
The days of using a pen and paper to answer exam questions should end according to the exams' regulator Ofqual.
Its chief executive Isabel Nisbet explains her reasoning on BBC Radio 5 live: "The way that students are tested should be the way that they learn."
"We need to change the emphasis," Nisbet tells Nicky Campbell and Rachel Burden on 5 live Breakfast.
"The way that they're tested should be the best possible kind of tests in the world, to match the best kind of learning."
