Secondary league tables: Lowest GCSE results

School League Tables

This table lists the 200 state secondary schools in England with the lowest attainment at GCSE and other Key Stage 4 qualifications.

The schools are ranked on the percentage of pupils attaining five A*-C passes in GCSE or equivalent qualifications, including maths and English GCSEs. In addition, point scores are given for each qualification, with higher scores for higher grades and the average number of points per pupil is used as a tie-break.

Independent schools have been removed from the list, because some use International GCSE qualifications which have not yet been accredited and are therefore not included in the tables. Schools marked AC are academies, those marked SHUT are now closed. Schools with fewer than 30 pupils in the relevant year group are not included.
