Children's bee study makes it to Royal Society journal
A group of primary school children have had the details of their science project published in a scientific journal for the first time ever.
Amy and Ben, who are now 11 and 12, devised the investigation into the bumble bees' ability to recognise patterns and colour when they were at Blackawton Primary School in Devon.
They were helped by University College London's Dr Beau Lotto, and their findings were published in The Royal Society journal Biology Letters.
