Nick Clegg's 'regret' over student fees situation
Nick Clegg has said he "massively regrets" finding himself in a situation where he had to break his promise on abolishing tuition fees, a decision he had "really struggled" with.
The deputy prime minister made the comments during an interview with the BBC's Jeremy Vine on Radio 2.
At the same time, thousands of youths took to the streets around the UK to protest at the rising costs of attending university.
