Angry scenes at Millbank Tower at student fees protest

Plans for sharp increases in the amount students must pay to go to university have prompted big protests in central London.

Students were joined by their teachers for a noisy demonstration in Westminster.

There have been some scuffles with police and a window at Conservative Party headquarters at Mill bank Tower was smashed.
