Labour's Academies are 'performing impressively'
The academies that Labour established in England are performing well, according to a report by the National Audit Office. It says that pupils are improving more quickly in the new academies than if the school's status had stayed the same.
The report also warns that the rapid expansion of the scheme by the coalition government will put pressure on resources.
