Legal action over missing plane

Both Malaysia Airlines and Boeing are facing legal action over the missing flight MH370.

A US-based law firm has filed a court motion, alleging that the plane crashed due to mechanical failure.

So who is responsible for compensating the families of the victims? And how might the crash affect the industry in future?
