Businesses debate future of Arctic at summit in London

The Arctic represents the final frontier in the global search for new natural resources, or sea routes - but the very idea of exploiting it horrifies environmentalists.

Oil, mining and shipping companies are debating the region's business and geopolitical future at a two-day summit in London.

With hundreds of billions of dollars at stake, businesses, governments, environmentalists and Arctic residents have to navigate some choppy waters, as Nigel Cassidy reports.
