UK inflation rate falls to 2%

The UK's inflation rate, as measured by the Consumer Prices Index, has fallen to 2% for the first time in four years, hitting the government-set target.

Phil Gooding from the Office for National Statistics said that the fall was caused by slower increases in the prices of food.
