Zavvi customers given free PlayStations in error

12 December 2013 Last updated at 14:31 GMT

Customers at online retailer Zavvi may have thought they had been handed an early Christmas present - when they ordered video game 'Tearaway' and got sent a PlayStation Vita instead.

Luke McGillen was one such customer - but Zavvi have been quick to warn him and others that they could face legal action if they did not send the machines back.

Luke told BBC Radio 5 live's Phil Williams that he "just wanted his money back" but consumer rights expert Fergus Muirhead warned that the law is "vague" in these situations.

Zavvi declined the right to comment and instead pointed the programme to advice from the Citizens Advice Bureau - which stated customers should hand the consoles back.
