RBS 'failing' customers, says Money Saving Expert's Martin Lewis

Martin Lewis from the personal finance website Money Saving Expert has accused RBS of failing its customers after a computer problem left people unable to access accounts, pay for services and, in some instances, with funds removed from accounts completely.
Mr Lewis said it was "not good enough" to offer compensation for financial loss, as some people had experienced inconvenience and embarrassment because of the IT problems.
For its part RBS has apologised for the situation which it described as "unacceptable".
