Marston's pubs target family dining market

28 November 2013 Last updated at 16:23 GMT

Marston's, the pub operator and independent brewer, is to sell 200 pubs after a full-year growth in profits.

The company is selling the pubs in order to invest in 60 "family" pubs which offer food.

It currently has about 2,050 pubs in its estate.

Marston's CEO Ralph Findley told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "These days people tend to want to go out to dine with families - its a different kind of market."
