RBS allegations: 'We didn't understand our loan'

25 November 2013 Last updated at 17:59 GMT

RBS has asked a law firm to investigate claims it forced firms to close so it could make a profit after reports criticised the bank for its treatment of small firms.

Cheryl and Eddie Warren are the former owners of the Bold Hotel in Southport, which went into liquidation after being transferred to the bank's global restructuring group (GRG). Their hotel was then sold to RBS specialist property arm, West Register.

Mr Warren said RBS did not clearly explain the terms of their loan.
