Blockbuster administrator: We need to close 70 stores

14 November 2013 Last updated at 16:10 GMT

The high street DVD rental chain Blockbuster is to close 72 stores - with a loss of 452 jobs.

It is the second time this year the company has been in administration and announced job losses.

Nick O'Reilly is a partner from Moorfields Corporate Recovery, which has been appointed administrator of TS Operations, which trades as Blockbuster.

He told BBC Radio 5 live's Shelagh Fogarty: "Regrettably, we came to the decision that to find a buyer we need to have a closure of 70 odd stores."
