Why Grangemouth closure matters politically

Ministers are meeting in London to decide on a response to the decision to close the petrochemical plant in Grangemouth.

Ineos made the announcement following a meeting with the workforce at the plant and its associated oil refinery.

Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond said the closure was the "outcome that matches our worst fears".
