Hinkley Point nuclear plant to get final approval

Britain's first new nuclear power plant for a generation, at Hinkley Point in Somerset, should get the final go-ahead from the government on Monday.

French-owned energy giant EDF is leading the consortium building the plant, with significant financial backing and the plant's design coming from China.
