New energy tariffs are still too confusing, says Which?


Proposals to simplify energy tariffs, and make it easier for customers to compare them, are still too complicated according to the consumer group Which?

It found that seven out of ten people still could not work out the cheapest deals for gas and electricity when using an Ofgem comparison system.

The energy regulator has rejected the results, saying the research methods were misleading. Joe Lynam reports.
