Private jets still flying high in economic downturn

The Learjet aircraft celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2013, as a brand which has come to symbolise luxury air travel.

Private jets are seen as a badge of the rich and famous, or wealthy business traveller - but is this extravagant mode of transport coping in the global economic slump?
