Pakistan to import Iranian gas to make up for shortfall
Pakistan is set to import natural gas from Iran. The move will allow the country to meet its growing shortages at home.
President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan and Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are set to inaugurate a controversial gas pipeline linking the two neighbours.
Meanwhile, the US has warned the project may incur sanctions connected with Iran's nuclear programme.
