Japan and US aim to relax trade barriers
Singapore is set to host talks this week on the Trans Pacific Partnership.
It is currently a small trade group but there are plans to expand it into a global pact that would have members such as the US, Australia and Japan.
Frank Lavin, Chairman and CEO of Export Now and former US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, told the BBC that Japan and the US are moving closer to an agreement on the Trans Pacific Partnership.
