The American author and educator Helen Keller said that "ideas without action are worthless".

Great ideas are all very well, but without practical efforts to realise them, they're confined to the inventor's mind.

This underlines the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship and how together they can spark economic success. It's a subject that Asia Business Report is looking at this week.

Hsieh Tsun-Yan is Chairman of the LinHart Group, a consultancy that promotes new ideas.

He told the BBC that innovation and entrepreneurship are actually two very different things.
