Royal Dutch Shell is "on track to achieve its targets" despite a fall in profits chief executive Peter Voser has said.

Annual profits at Shell in 2012 were $27bn (£17bn), down from $28.6bn in 2011.

Mr Voser said that costs of production were "on the rise" and had impacted the company's results.
