Australia a prime target for online attacks claims PM
The Australian prime minister Julia Gillard has said her country is a prime target for online attacks by hackers and nations.
During a keynote speech in Canberra she outlined the country's first national security strategy, highlighting the risks Australia faces from espionage and terrorism.
Ms Gillard also raised concerns about the growing influence of China.
Peter Jennings, a director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute in Canberra, told the BBC's Rico Hizon he would have liked to have heard more about concrete commitments to defence spending.
