Manchester United has announced two new sponsorship deals with Chinese companies.

The football club - English champions a record 19 times - has signed a three-year deal with soft drinks maker Wahaha.

It also signed an agreement with China Construction Bank which will see the bank produce a Manchester United branded credit card for fans in China.

United has built up a strong fan base in China in recent years, visiting the country 11 times to play friendlies since 1975.

The BBC's Martin Patience in Beijing reports on the deals and what each party hopes to achieve.
